Listermann Brewing Company is releasing its woman-brewed beers on International Women's Day.
In January, female staff members poured and stirred at the beginning stages of what would become three farmhouse ales.
Those ales are now fully brewed, bottled and ready for drinking.
Each farmhouse ale bottle features a design by one of three different local female artists.
Listermann is holding an event Thursday to release the beer on draft and four-pack bottles.
"I think that beer is a huge part of our city, and I know that there are not a lot of women who are in the industry. So I think just being a part of our community and adding to that is important," said artist Katie Jaeger.
One dollar of every pint poured of the farmhouse ales and 10 percent of bottle sales will benefit Women Helping Women, an organization providing support services for women who have been abused.
The event, which starts at 5 p.m., will also have a raffle, live screen printing, free photo booth and Renegade Grille will be open for dinner.
Listermann Brewing Company is located at 1621 Dana Ave.
