Gov. DeWine OKs law enforcement assistance at Sen. Vance's home
Cincinnati police, troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol and ATF agents were all seen at Sen. J.D. Vance's Cincinnati home Sunday evening.
바카라게임 confirmed within 30 minutes of Saturday's assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump that extra law enforcement officers were sent to the senator's house.
For security purposes, 바카라게임 is not identifying the location.
A spokesperson for Gov. Mike DeWine's office said at 6:40 p.m. Saturday that DeWine approved state law enforcement assistance for Vance's home.
The spokesperson declined to say if this was in response to a specific threat or was precautionary.
Vance is a top contender to be Trump's running mate.
NBC sources are saying the law enforcement presence at Vance's home does not include U.S. Secret Service and is not related to the Veepstakes.
바카라게임 reached out to officials in Florida, South Carolina, and North Dakota to see if others on the vice president shortlist have added security at their homes.
In addition to Vance, the list includes GOP Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, North Dakota GOP Gov. Doug Burgum and Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina.
As of Sunday night, 바카라게임 only heard from a spokesperson for Burgum. He said they don't discuss details of the governor's security.
We are also waiting to hear if Sen. Sherrod Brown has had patrols added to his home in northern Ohio.
OSHP would not say how long they expect to provide extra security at Vance's home. A spokesperson said, "For safety reasons, the patrol does not discuss specific details related to security operations."
