J.D. Vance responds to Donald Trump's running mate rumors
President Joe Biden and Former President Donald Trump faced off in the first presidential debate of 2024 Thursday night.
One of the main things analysts were looking out for Thursday night was Trump to possibly announce his vice presidential pick.
So far, nothing official, but we know Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance's name is being thrown around as one of the top contenders.
He was at the debate Thursday night, helping the former president in the spin room.
"I mean look its obviously a thing that's out there. It's a thing that I see media reports on but have I talked directly to Donald Trump about? No. I talked to him actually yesterday we talked about the debate for a while we talked about some of the things that I thought Joe Biden would say and we talked just generally about the election about some senate races that he has an interest in but we didn't talk about vice president once." Vance had to say about the possibility of being Trump's running mate.
When asked if he thinks he's the best pick, he responded, "I'll let Donald Trump make that decision, I'm glad I don't have to make it."
