Mexican restaurant in Covington to permanently close its doors
A restaurant in Covington has announced that they will be shutting down.
Zapata Cantina, a Mexican restaurant located at 801 Madison Ave., will be going out of business on Wednesday, April 30.
The restaurant announced the closure
"Is there really a 'Good Time' or a 'Right Time' to announce these decision바카라 게임 웹사이트s ?" wrote a message from the restaurant's owners on Zapata Cantina's social media page.
"As Owners, it바카라 게임 웹사이트s never a smooth choice. So, to our Amazing Team, Past and Present, Thank you To all our amazing guests , we sincerely appreciate all your support over the years. It바카라 게임 웹사이트s been a pleasure to serve you and laugh with you. We invite you to join us for our last few nights of service Tonight thru Wednesday 4/30 as we close our doors here at Zapata Cantina."
The restaurant first opened in 2020. It is named after Emiliano Zapata, a leading figure in the Mexican Revolution of 1910-1920.
Zapata Cantina owners Gary and Alex Rodriguez, a father and son duo, are perhaps best known for their chain of El Rancho Grande Mexican restaurants throughout the Greater Cincinnati region.
Prior to hosting Zapata's Cantina, the restaurant's building also has hosted the Florida Inn and a Frisch's over the past few decades.
For its last week in business, the restaurant will be open from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and from 4 to 9 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The restaurant will not be open on Sunday.
