ICE: Suspected MS-13 gang member arrested in Butler County, wanted for murder in El Salvador
MS-13 is one of the most feared gangs in the world. Gang members are known for brutal killings, extortion and human trafficking.
The gang has deep ties to Central America but has also operated in cities across the United States 바카라 게임 웹사이트 including Butler County.
In 2011, gang member Hector Retana was convicted of murdering two men outside Casa Tequila Restaurant in Fairfield.
Now, another name is making headlines: Salvador Hernandez-Solorzano.
The FBI posted this photo of Hernandez-Solorzano being arrested in Hamilton this week.
바카라게임 learned he was taken into custody outside the Dollar General on Route 4.
A spokesperson for ICE released a statement saying, "Hernandez is an illegal alien from El Salvador who is wanted in his home country on murder charges and is a member of the designated foreign terrorist organization MS-13."
He is currently locked up in the Butler County jail.
"ICE does not have any criminal jurisdiction to deport somebody based upon a criminal accusation from another country," said Cassie Rodriguez, a local immigration attorney.
Rodriguez said deportation is not automatic, and people picked up by ICE have a right to immigration hearings.
She also warned that everything foreign governments say should not be taken at face value.
"Some of the people I have represented have been through hell in their home countries and they're just looking for a place where they can breathe and work and live peacefully. So, I would say we have to be careful of the narrative that we are being fed from foreign nations," Rodriguez said.
바카라게임 has requested several records from ICE, including the formal charging documents, international warrants, and any records of cooperation between ICE and El Salvador. These requests aim to shed more light on the investigation that has now reached Butler County.
