As Ohio's top law enforcement officer and candidate for governor, Attorney General Dave Yost has a lot on his mind, including a high-profile break-in at Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow's house.
A special task force helped nab four suspects who officials said are members of a South American gang.
"These foreign nationals coming in and doing these crimes, they don't all stay in one jurisdiction," Yost said. "So if you're just in the city of Cincinnati or just in Indian Hill, and you're trying to connect the dots, you may not have very many dots."
Yost said task force members connected the dots, leading to multiple arrests.
In addition to criminal cases, Yost also talked about the campaign trail.

Ramaswamy has already been endorsed by President Trump.
"You know, my message is results, not just rhetoric," Yost said.

"The voters are a lot smarter than politicians give them credit for. They understand the difference between Ohio and what's gone on down in the nation's capital," Yost said. "There is a, I think, really an appetite for change."
Yost talked about finding new ways to boost Ohio's population growth, improve educational outcomes and promote homegrown energy resources.
"I'm talking with Ohioans about setting goals for the future, a vision, not coming up with a list of problems that I can blame on the other guys," he said.
The primary for Ohio's gubernatorial race is set for May 2026.
Yost and Ramaswamy are the top two Republicans. Dr. Amy Acton, who advised DeWine during the COVID-19 pandemic, is the leading Democrat.
