Pike County massacre trial day eight: More witnesses to take stand
Jurors in the Pike County massacre trial heard straight from the woman who examined all eight Rhoden family members who were killed.
The coroner talked about finding bullet fragments and some things she found strange about the case.
Dr. Karen Looman told the jury she found it strange several members of the Rhoden family didn't move, even as their relatives were being killed.
Looman, the chief deputy coroner for Hamilton County, performed autopsies on all the Rhodens who were shot and killed in April of 2016.
On Tuesday, she tesitifed about the first two victims, Chris Rhoden Sr. and his cousin, Gary.
During opening statements last week, the lead prosecutor called Rhoden Sr. the patriarch of his family which was, according to the prosecutor, why George Wagner IV, his brother Jake and their parents wanted to take him out.
Looman says many of the victims were shot multiple times and it appears they never moved.
