Hi. Yeah, these aren't mad scientists on the Fringe sitting in a lab saying robots to deliver. No, this is now a major companies right now testing robots that take to the sky and the ground to deliver anything. Yes. Anything you could possibly order. It's the new way we're getting everything from food to packages faster and easier. And then ways you need to see to believe, let me show you these cool robots in action from the air to the ground. These four high tech machines are taking over the next time you order something online. This could be how it gets delivered. It's called an electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft. A cross between an airplane and a helicopter ups has a new fleet of these. They fly up to 250 miles at 170 MPH and can even carry £3000 aiming to make deliveries faster. These aircrafts will take to the skies by 2024. Next up, what if a robot could deliver you pizza Domino says this one can, they're testing this self driving pizza delivery car completely autonomous watches. A domino's worker places your order in the car and it's off driving to your house to greet you. Once the car gets there, you'll receive a special pin number on your phone to open the door and you're ready to eat. That's right. No driver to tip. But guess what, robots aren't just delivering pizzas, believe it or not, there are a bunch of tech companies right now developing these food delivery robots. This is one of them right here focused on college campuses. It's called Starship. There on 15 college campuses right now and they're growing. So students would come in, you'd have your credit card in here, then you choose where you are, right? So I'm at scott hall, I'll hit that. Going to confirm the delivery point, then I can choose many number of stores. I'll go to Starbucks here. Let's see uh what do you need to move for mocha frappuccino? That sounds good, mocha frappuccino. So we go mocha frappuccino. I can do my normal stuff added to cart, view the cart and boom, we wait for the robot. It says it'll be here in 12 minutes. Let's sit over at the local Starbucks. Our cameras capture it all. My order pops up on the screen. The barista makes the frappe, packs it in the robot and sends it on its way. The goal of course, get you your order quickly. It goes four MPH. You think that's slow. Check out our own crew. They have to run to keep up. Mhm. Hold on buddy, stop it. Dodges people and cars rounds the corner and gets to me right on time. Wait, I think this is my guy right here. Oh oh and by the way this is so common. Look as my guy shows up there goes another one delivering to somebody else. Okay so he's here. They say you're supposed to bring your phone. So they want to make sure this is how they make sure that no one else gets their food. You have to hit on your phone on next to the robot. You unlock it. It sounds like an unlock. There we go. Here's your delivery. Yeah. Here it is my mocha frappe via robot. And then and then look you swipe on this to send the robot away. Yes. And the robot away. Close the lid. See you later buddy. Thank you. But this next robot does even more bringing your deliveries right to your front door. It's name is digit. It has legs and torso, even arms, ford motors. Just bought some of these robots to pair with its autonomous car. How does it work? You're expecting a delivery. It comes in an autonomous vehicle. Usually your package would be stuck on the curb, but watch as digit unfolds itself out of the car. It actually grabs your package, dodges, objects on a sidewalk, walks up the steps and can even remember where you want your package left, setting it down gently. New technology changing the delivery game by the way, those starships robots, the ones that deliver food and groceries on campus. They head back to their hub after each delivery to be sanitized for the next order to, which is pretty cool. I want to know when all these robots are coming to your town.
