Rossen Reports: Save big with these fast-food tricks
Yeah, last summer I did *** story about fast food hacks, creative ways to order stuff at fast food restaurants and get more food for literally half the price. It was so popular. All I do is get emails and you say, give me more. Give me more. And boy, do we have them? First up, Mcdonald's breakfast? Save big on *** sausage egg mcmuffin by just adjusting how you order it. Hi, can I get *** sausage mcmuffin and *** round egg on the side? That egg on the side cost me only 29 cents. Okay, let's see what we got here. So I bought the sausage Mcmuffin and the egg on the side. Right? So this is what it looks like. Okay, sausage mcmuffin. There's no egg on it. But remember I got the egg on the side. So this is now *** full sausage egg mcmuffin sandwich. I bought this for $2.58. But here's the thing just to compare to show you, I bought the full sausage egg mcmuffin that you buy where they just put it together for you by the way, Same sandwich. Look at that same exact thing. Okay, the one I bought 2 58. This $14.79 *** savings for the one I did of $2.21 nearly half the price. But wait until you see this next trick. *** dairy queen. We order *** kid's cheeseburger meal and *** regular cheeseburger meal, which burger do you think came with the kids meal? I'll wait, look closely. I can't figure it out. Right. It's because they're the same. The regular meal cost us $7.79. And the kids meal just 569. And while you do get less fries and look at that, it's literally just *** few fries less can barely. And the smaller soda, you're getting the same size cheeseburger and saving to 10. But you know me, I'm saving the best trick for last at chipotle. I have *** cool act to get you *** burrito much cheaper. Let's try this out. Can I just get *** tortilla with beans and cheese? But watch this. I load the burrito up with some of the free stuff, lettuce, PICO and corn. Okay, check this out. I mean, this thing is thing is thick. All right, That's *** lot of food. Look at that. That's *** burrito size. Okay, let me look at this. Let me open it up in the middle. Hold on. I mean, that's *** lot of food. $3.85. I want to know how much we saved *** regular burrito would have cost us $9. 30 cents. We saved *** whopping 5 45. How cool is that? That's *** lot of food. One last tip. Save your receipts. I know when we buy fast food, we like crumble them up and just toss them. But look here at the bottom, Right? There's free stuff here. Okay, this this Wendy's receipt right here. It offers *** free sandwich. If you take *** quick survey, takes like two seconds. This dairy queen receipt free ice cream at the bottom.
