It's been 15 years since Shania Twain has put out an album—but the Queen of Pop Country is finally back. She's coming out with a new album this September, and she just released "Life's About to Get Good," her last single since her 2012 duet with Lionel Richie, "Endless Love."Shortly after the single came out, it hit the top of Billboard and Twitter's Trending 140 chart, meaning a lot of people were talking about it on social media. And that might be because it's wonderfully optimistic, especially considering her circumstances. In the years since her last album came out, she divorced her husband, Robert "Mutt" Lange, after he fell in love with her friend, Marie-Anne Thiébaud. Twain then fell in love with Thiébaud's then-husband, Frederic, and married him. The stress from the divorce may have contributed to her dysphonia, a disorder of her vocal cords that made it tough for her to speak, let alone sing. "I was at home looking out at the ocean and I said to myself, 'Here I am stuck in this past of negativity, but it's so beautiful out,'" Twain told the Los Angeles Times about the song. "You can't have the good without the bad. And that's what the song ended up being about."NOW, her first album in 15 years, is set to come out September 29. Twain has said the album will be "quite melancholy and a lot darker," so this is probably one of the few sunny tracks on the album. So if you need a good breakup song, Shania has your back.
