The Justice Department provided *** significant new court filing that reveals that obstruction of justice is *** significant focus of its investigation into the presence of classified documents at former President Donald trump's home mar *** Lago in florida. The Justice I was able to observe individuals moving boxes out of *** storage room and concealing documents and that is significant in terms of the chronology because in june the Justice Department and FBI had visited and had been reassured that all of the documents that were classified were in *** particular storage room subsequent to the at the FBI. And Justice Department say they were able to observe those documents being relocated and that is something that is of particular concern to the FBI and Just Department because they require statements to them to be truthful and accurate. The document does not identify the individuals who are responsible for concealing records or moving boxes and it does not suggest that Donald trump himself obstructed the investigation. It does note that classified records were found in *** desk drawer in his office, but it is clear that the trump team, whoever that is made representations to the Justice Department that the Just Department considers to be not truthful. It is not clear whether anyone including former President trump will ever be charged. That's not something that is discernible from any of the documents and the Just Department has been important on the record, saying that this in the early stages of their investigation
